Kocaeli's Photographic Technologies Museum is on the EBA Platform

The Museum of Photographic Technologies, exhibited by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and revealing the past and present of photography technology with its numerous cameras and equipment, was the subject of digital textbooks of the Ministry of National Education within the scope of the preparation of educational tools and digital content. In this context, the Museum of Photographic Technologies was published on the EBA platform with the content of the "Photography Textbook" in the textbooks taught in Fine Arts High Schools. In this way, students have detailed information about the Museum of Photographic Technologies.

The Photographic Technologies Museum, which operates under the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, is located in the Printing House Chief Hall within the SEKA Paper Museum. In the Kocaeli Photographic Technologies Museum, which has a total area of ​​320 square meters, the change in photography technology is explained through cameras. A total of 1860 cameras are exhibited in the museum, the oldest of which dates back to the 310s. In addition, various tools and equipment such as exposure meters, flashes, viewfinders, lenses, filters, photo cards and materials used in the film laboratory (dark room) attract the attention of visitors. The Museum of Photographic Technologies awaits its visitors on all days except Mondays.
