We had created such a flow of hundreds of academic identities and hundreds of political people and established such a solid coordination that a magnificent work was produced. “The ordeal in this region stretching from Karaköy to Beşiktaş was unbearable. We worked on projects to create permanent, not temporary, solutions to the issue. What will we do with the buses coming to the region? We will take it underground. Our underground car park will host 60 of those big buses there at the same time. And it will drop off its passengers and go to Dolmabahçe and other points. Therefore, you will no longer see a single bus being stored nearby. This will happen very regularly. Because we have introduced very careful regulations for buses and pedestrians. We will control that density here. Let's not see this place as just an underground parking lot. This is a station area where passengers and pedestrians can spend time. There are shops, exhibition areas, libraries, and there will also be some offices. That's why we call it 'transfer center'.”
