Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that they attach great importance to the transportation infrastructure of Istanbul and in this context, they have invested approximately 22 trillion 1 billion liras for the transportation and communication infrastructure of Istanbul in the last 177 years. Noting that they "breathed" the urban traffic of Istanbul with projects such as the inaugurated Çekmeköy-Taşdelen-Alemdağ Bridge Interchange and the ongoing Sarıyer-Kilyos Tunnel, Uraloğlu explained that they increased the length of the divided road from 350 kilometers to 794 kilometers, and the length of the bituminous hot coating road from 357 kilometers to 811 kilometers. . We made a significant contribution to the silhouette of Istanbul by removing 33 iron piles scattered on the Çamlıca hills. By reducing the electromagnetic field value in the region to almost one-third of the European standard, we saved the people of Istanbul from the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields and offered them a healthier life. We continue to change the face of our city with railway and urban rail system projects. Halkalı-The construction work of our Kapıkule high-speed train project continues. We have also completed the preliminary project work of the Ankara-Istanbul Super Speed Train Line project, which will be a completely new line after our Istanbul-Ankara High Speed Train line. The route length of our super high-speed train line will be 344 kilometers. We plan to reduce the travel time to 350 minutes with our trains that will reach a speed of 80 kilometers per hour. "We have also included the Northern Marmara High Speed Train line project, which will start from Gebze, pass over the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and reach Istanbul Airport and finally Çatalca, among our plans."
