Taking the floor after the moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, Mayor Hilmi Bilgin said, “Since the day we took office, we have undertaken many projects to serve our city, develop our city and make it a city where our citizens are happy to live. We made an effort to touch every point, every neighborhood, every street of the city, from transportation to parks and gardens, from infrastructure to superstructure, from social municipality to cultural municipality. When we complete five years and look back, we are happy to fulfill whatever we promised to our nation, to produce works only to serve the nation, develop our city, and plan the future of the city.” said.
“How can we make Sivas more beautiful?” Stating that they work on behalf of the city, Bilgin said, “All the beauties we see in the city were not created by just one person. Together with our colleagues, some of whom are here, we strived day and night to provide service and work. Together with the Sivas Municipality family of approximately 2500 people, we endeavored to plan works that will expand this city, including the earthquake zone, and provide service and contribution to this city during the pandemic period and earthquake period. At the end of the day, what we left behind were the blessings we received, the services and works we provided. We did it with our friends. I thank them in their presence. The field facilities we opened here today are located on an area of approximately 80 thousand square meters. Our subsidiary Özbelsan A.Ş. It was a magnificent facility built by. While planning this place, we actually considered the future of the city and implemented it in order to provide integrity with the Machinery Supply Facilities built by the Special Provincial Administration on the opposite side of the road. Since our other field facilities are also here, we planned it as an area with facilities that will serve both the rural and center of Sivas. The total closed area, including 5 warehouse buildings, 4 administrative service buildings, internal roads and landscaping, is 17.400 square meters. Today's current price of the tender is 266 million TL, excluding VAT. It's good that we go out to tender then and say we're glad we did it. Hopefully, some parts of the Planning Project Directorate, SİBESKİ Directorate, and Cleaning Affairs Directorate have been moved. The moving process of our other directorates has also started. Again, with the administrative buildings of these directorates, we provide service buildings worthy of our municipality and staff, in a beautiful environment for our colleagues. The municipality's service areas were scattered. Hopefully, in the coming period, we will have gathered the municipality service areas on 4 main campuses, including the municipality central service building and the areas where we will gather other units. We are in the presence of our nation with peace of mind that you did not fulfill the promises we made to our nation 5 years ago. Hopefully, as of April 1, we will continue our work and service policy with our entire team, with the blessings and support of our nation, in order to make Sivas a shining city worthy of the Turkish Century. “I hope that the facilities we have opened will be beneficial to our city, our nation and our country, especially our colleagues.” he said.
Deputy Governor and Provincial Special Administration General Secretary Şakir Öner Öztürk said, “I hope that this facility will be beneficial to Sivas. Municipal services are services that a person experiences every day and feels every minute, from birth to death. The facility we are opening here today will actually be the main command center control center for many services that we use daily, from roads to lifting and cleaning services. It is a center where these services are planned, we saw that very nice facilities have been built, there is a great effort here. Over the years, there have been beautiful facilities to serve the needs of Sivas Municipality. With its design, materials and workmanship, it has truly become a facility that will serve for years to come. I would like to thank our Mayor, deputy mayors, branch managers and all municipal employees, as well as Özbelsan's General Manager and employees, who contributed to this facility.
