The construction of a 935-meter-long new double road and a 212-meter viaduct for safe and comfortable transportation to Dilovası State Hospital, which is under construction by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, continues at full speed. Mayor Büyükakın, who received information from the technical team, said in his statement after the inspection, "Just as we removed the Kömürcüler OIZ in Dilovası, we are also solving the problem in transportation to the State Hospital."
Providing information about the viaduct project that will pass over Eynerce Creek, Mayor Büyükakın said, “We are holding consultations in the region when deciding what to do in Dilovası. In our investigations with our mayor, council members, muhtars and in the field, it was stated that one of the most important demands was having to walk around a lot to access the hospital. We learned that there would be great satisfaction if this project was completed. And our friends started to project this place. With the implementation of the project, transportation to Dilovası State Hospital will become safer and more comfortable. "When the double road and the subsequent viaduct are completed, patients and their relatives will reach the hospital in a shorter time via Istiklal Street," he said.
“DİLOVASI WILL BE HAPPY”
Stating that the project that was implemented is a large production, Mayor Büyükakın said, “This project has a budget of around 140 Million TL, excluding VAT. In the past, governments used to carry out such manufacturing. Now, the Metropolitan Municipality, as a strong structure, has become able to do this with its own capabilities. Access to the hospital will be easier via the access of this bridge and Dilovası will be very happy about it. One of the biggest demands before was the abolition of Kömürcüler OIZ. We achieved this with a solution that left no one victimized. We promised that we would remove the coal miners' OIZ. We removed that too. Hopefully, we will build a Dilovası that becomes more beautiful every day and a Kocaeli that becomes more beautiful every day. Our main goal is for our citizens to be happy, our children to be happy and peaceful. "We will continue to strive as long as God gives strength and power," he said.
