Pointing out that the Chinese economy has entered a recovery process after the pandemic, İbrahim Alimoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Mineral Exporters Association, said that natural stone exports to China increased by 2023 percent from 3 million dollars to 418 million dollars in 432, and that China overtook the USA and became the top producer again. He shared that it has become a major export market.
Giving the information that China's natural stone trade has reached 9 billion dollars, Alimoğlu noted that 60 percent of China's natural stone trade is carried out in Xiamen and said, “We aim to be the first country in international participation with 75 companies at the Xiamen Fair this year. "We want to see our Turkish natural stone exporters strongly at the Xiamen Fair, which is among the prestigious fairs for which our Ministry of Commerce supports 70 percent," he said.
