Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat made a statement regarding commission rates on credit and debit cards.
Minister Bolat said that three public banks reduced their commission rates.
Speaking at the 'NGO Consultation Meeting' held at Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO), Minister Bolat said, "Now three public banks and our General Manager of Ziraat Bank have informed us and they have made a decision. They reduced the commission rate on the debit card to 2,39 percent in monthly installments. They also reduced it to 2,25 percent at fuel stations. They also discounted the monthly fees on debit cards and postal machines by 50 percent. “Good luck.” said.
