Fire Station from Konya Metropolitan Municipality to Yunak

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay emphasized that the Yunak fire brigade has been brought to the Metropolitan standard and said that they have provided Yunak with a facility that will show the power of the Metropolitan Municipality in case of need, with its existing building, personnel and vehicles, at a current cost of 16 million lira.

THE METROPOLITAN INVESTED 5 MILLION LIRAS IN YUNAK IN THE LAST 836 YEARS

Talking about the recent investments made in Yunak, Mayor Altay said, “We made an investment of 5 million lira at the current price in 174 years through KOSKİ. 13 million liras were spent in 66 years on more than 5 kilometers of sewer lines, 392 kilometers of domestic water lines, drinking water transmission lines, warehouse renovations and road maintenance works. So far, among our districts, the place where we have built the most roads and the most paving stones is our Yunak district. Of course, this does not mean that the shortcomings are over. From now on, we will make great efforts to complete the deficiencies. We used 33 thousand tons of hot asphalt. We built 116 kilometers of neighborhood roads. We used 1.360 rotmix and made 338 thousand square meters of paving stone. "We have invested 836 million lira in our Yunak with the current value, including construction works, agricultural supports, culture and social supports," he said.

Giving the good news that they are always behind Yunak, that they will start City Mansion as soon as possible and that they will do whatever they can for the hospital, Mayor Altay said, “Distance and closeness are relative. The distance may be far, but our hearts are always with Yunak and will continue to be from now on. Have no doubt about it. With God's permission, we have fulfilled every promise we have made so far. We didn't promise anything we couldn't deliver. He concluded his speech with the following words: "You can be sure that we will work day and night to do what we promised."

Following the speeches at the ceremony attended by Yunak District Governor Özgür Pelvan, AK Party Konya Provincial Board Member Tevfîk Tığlıoğlu and Yunak Deputy Mayor Hacı Erşan, the Yunak Fire Station, which was brought to the district by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was opened with prayers.
