Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is carrying out intensive work on the nostalgia tram line so that disabled citizens can use Cumhuriyet Square more easily. The elevation difference has been eliminated in the project, which is planned to be completed in the first week of March. The manufacturing of the rails was completed and landscaping and paving works started.
Taking action in line with the demands of disabled individuals, the Metropolitan Municipality eliminated the elevation difference between the rails and sidewalks on the nostalgia tram line between Cumhuriyet Square and Selekler. Department of Technical Affairs teams completed the rail repair of the 350-meter line and started landscaping and paving works. This work aims to increase the aesthetic appearance and usability of Cumhuriyet Square, while allowing the square to be used more easily by disabled citizens.
WILL BE COMPLETED IN THE FIRST WEEK OF MARCH
Within the scope of the work, the existing sidewalks in the south between Cumhuriyet Street and Selekler will also be renewed. In addition, 2 thousand 100 square meters of square and sidewalk arrangement will be made. The works are planned to be completed in the first week of March.
