Historical Record in Citrus! We Provided Healing to the World with Exports

On the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, it succeeded in exceeding 1 billion dollars in citrus product exports for the first time.

While Turkey's citrus product exports were 2022 million 1 thousand tons in 940 in terms of quantity, we sent 2023 million 1 thousand tons of citrus products to all over the world in 950.

Stating that Turkish exporters left behind a successful year with an export of 2023 billion 1 million dollars by delivering our citrus products to all over the world in 112 with an approach based on food safety and quality, Deputy Coordinator of the Aegean Exporters' Associations and President of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association, Hayrettin Ucak, said: He stated that they provide healing to the world with their warehouse products.

Informing that Turkey will export fresh fruits and vegetables worth 2023 billion 3 million dollars in 491, Yavaş said, “Citrus products took a 32 percent share of our fresh fruit and vegetable exports. Tangerine maintained its export leadership among citrus products with an amount of 577 million dollars. Tangerine became the export champion not only among our citrus products, but also among our fresh fruit and vegetable products. Our lemon exports increased by 30 percent, from 272 million dollars to 355 million dollars. Our orange exports increased from 15 million dollars to 98 million dollars, with an improvement of 112 percent. Our grapefruit exports are; "It was recorded as 68 million dollars," he said.

RUSSIA, IRAQ AND UKRAINE ARE THE TOP THREE COUNTRIES IN OUR EXPORTS

Stating that the Russian Federation maintains its place at the top in citrus exports with a demand of 428 million dollars, President Ucak continued his words as follows; “Our citrus product exports to Iraq increased by a record 165 percent, from 68 million dollars to 181,5 million dollars, and ranked second. Our exports to Ukraine increased by 20 percent, from 84 million dollars to 101 million dollars. The first three countries were followed by Poland with 57 million dollars, Romania with 49 million dollars, Serbia with 30 million dollars, Bulgaria with 26 million dollars, Saudi Arabia with 19 million dollars, Belarus with 15 million dollars and Moldova with 14 million dollars. Exports of citrus products from the Aegean Region amounted to 50 million dollars. While Russia is at the top of citrus exports from the Aegean Region with 17 million dollars, we exported citrus products worth 10 million dollars to Ukraine and 3 million dollars to Poland. "Izmir, Muğla, Manisa, Aydın and Denizli were among our 20 provinces that exported the most citrus products."
