Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlucontinued his visits to the business world with the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD).
Stating that MÜSİAD is an important business organization of Istanbul and Turkey, Mayor İmamoğlu said, “We had a desire to come before, but we could not create a healthy dialogue at that time. Thank you Mr. President, I now feel that this meeting was very valuable, as he visited us with his kindness regarding the process. I would like to thank both him and his management for their welcome today. We, as IMM, are a management and a committee that knows that cooperation with the business world at the highest level possible is very valuable for Istanbul. We informed Mr. President and his delegation partially about what we have done this term, and if we are lucky, we shared our thoughts on what kind of cooperation could be possible in the next five years. It was very valuable. Because we believe that our Istanbul will be much more successful if it carries the cooperation with all thoughts, all institutions, organizations, all sectors or stakeholders to the highest level. Otherwise, no single institution, no person, no entity can claim to have too much information. We know that there is a very rich source of information and findings within MÜSİAD. "I hope we will take the cooperation in this direction to a stronger level in the coming period," he said.
