WHO IS TCDD GENERAL MANAGER VEYSI KURT?
Veysi Kurt was born in Mardin in 1964. He started his education at Istanbul Technical University, Sakarya Engineering Faculty, Department of Industrial Engineering and graduated from this department in 1983. Following his graduation, he started working at the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) in the same year.
Kurt has held various positions under the umbrella of TCDD throughout his career. These positions include important positions such as Engineer, Deputy Branch Manager, Branch Manager, Deputy Head of Movement Department, Head of Movement Department, TCDD Board Member and Deputy General Manager. Additionally, in 2006, he served as the General Manager and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkey Railway Machinery Industry Inc. (TÜDEMSAŞ). In 2016, he assumed the position of General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ by proxy, and in 2017, he took over this position as a principal. However, he was dismissed in 2019.
