There is Intermittent Rain in Northern Aegean, Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia!

The General Directorate of Meteorology published the daily forecast weather report for Friday, February 23, 2024.

According to the latest evaluations, it is estimated that the northern and eastern parts of Turkey will be very cloudy in places, the Northern Aegean coasts and the east of Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia will have intermittent rain, and other places will be partly and slightly cloudy.

While precipitation is generally expected to be rain and showers, mixed with sleet and snow in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, there is an avalanche danger in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the snow-covered slopes of the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

Today, haze and occasional fog are expected in the central and eastern parts of the country in the morning and at night, and air temperatures are expected to increase across the country and remain 4-6 degrees above seasonal norms.

It is estimated that the wind will generally blow from the southerly direction, with moderate strength occasionally.

Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Meteorology, which also warned of avalanche danger in its daily report, asked people to be careful and cautious as there is an avalanche danger in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the snow-covered slopes of the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
