Mayor Hilmi Bilgin said, “We have had a very harmonious period with all our headmen for 5 years, both individually, regarding our neighborhoods and socially regarding the city. At this point, I saw each of our headmen as our colleagues, an employee of our municipality, a stakeholder, and the hands of the neighborhoods. We tried to include our headmen in all our work. We said let's share the burden together, let's share the burden together, let's do the service together. We saw its mercy, abundance and harmony in this. We have always done good things. Anyone who benefits from a road, an underpass, an overpass or a social project we built already tells this. We opened huge roads. We aspired for the road that we have opened, which will contribute to the city, serve the city for many years and give the city a vision, if those who use that road and pass by can say 'well, people did it, God bless', rather than saying we did this road. If we broke hearts, we broke hearts for this. But we took care not to break anyone's heart. I believe that roads can be built, bridges can be built, but broken hearts cannot be built. We struggled to do this job without breaking hearts. And I believe that we achieved this together with 360 thousand of our fellow citizens. This gives us peace of mind.
