The operator of the construction equipment, who was trapped under an avalanche in Erzurum's Aziziye district, was rescued by gendarmerie teams.
According to the information obtained, a work machine belonging to the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Directorate was buried under an avalanche in the Başkurt stream location of Aziziye district this morning. After the incident was reported to the gendarmerie teams, two Public Order Teams, 1 JAK Team and 1 Search and Rescue Dog affiliated with the Erzurum Provincial Gendarmerie Command were dispatched to the region to save the operator.
As a result of the search and rescue efforts, the operator was rescued from the avalanche and delivered to the health units.
