Speaking at the seminar, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Hamdi Elcuman said that in order to make Kayseri resilient against disasters, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. He noted that they carried out important work with the directives of Memduh Büyükkılıç.

Stating that they have been working with TÜBİTAK and the Mineral Research and Exploration Institute and that they will implement the earthquake master plan as a result of the studies, Elcuman said, “In order to make our city earthquake resistant, microbeam work was carried out on an area of 200 million square meters, again with TÜBİTAK and the Mineral Research and Exploration Institute, to reveal the characteristics of the faults that are expected to affect our city.” Our work for this continues. In the seminar, which was held in three sessions with participants consisting of technical personnel of public institutions and organizations, municipalities and freelance engineers and architects, basic legal concepts for technical personnel, legal responsibilities of technical personnel and litigation processes following the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake were discussed.
