Stating that they had the necessary discussions with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure regarding the details of the project, Mayor Ergün said, “Necessary negotiations have been held with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the implementation of this project, and following the completion of the Ankara - Izmir high-speed train line, work will be started to bring the project to our city. However, he said, "We are continuing our negotiations and work to accelerate the project so that we can use the line without waiting for the high-speed train construction to be completed."
Menemen – Will Be Connected to İZBAN Line
Providing information about the route of the rail system, Mayor Ergün said, “The Rail System will start from Spil City Mass Housing, which we will build next to the city hospital, will continue until the OIZ, and then connect to the Menemen - İZBAN line and provide transportation between Izmir and Manisa by train. "In addition, the development areas that we have opened for residential development with the new zoning plan are located to the north of the Rail System, and our citizens in the new zoning areas will also be able to benefit from this rail system," he said.
