The ice climbing branch of the Winter Sports Games held in Erzurum witnessed great excitement at the Palandöken Mountain Ice Climbing Wall. Turkish University Sports Federation made special preparations for ice climbing, one of the most challenging branches of the Winter Sports Games.
A special snowmobile service was provided to the ice climbing area at an altitude of 2.000 meters so that the athletes could eat and drink hot drinks in a comfortable environment. In this way, athletes had the opportunity to rest and warm up after a challenging race.
The first day of the competitions has been completed and the athletes who have been in the leadership seat so far have been announced.
The second day of the competitions will continue today and the best in ice climbing will be determined.
Ice climbing is a very exciting branch for both spectators and athletes. Watching athletes climb on the ice and seeing their determination and skills is quite impressive.
