The Center for Combating Disinformation within the Directorate of Communications, published a message on some social media accounts saying "Installments for credit cards have been removed." He announced that his claim was not true.
In the statement, it was underlined that there was no regulation implemented by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance or related organizations regarding the abolition of installments in credit card usage, and said: "It has been determined that unfounded and speculative statements were made based on inaccurate information about credit cards, which could disrupt the functioning of the market. "Do not trust statements made outside of official institutions and authorities."
