A traffic accident occurred yesterday evening at the D-100 Highway Şeyhler Mahallesi Üçyol location in Koyulhisar district of Sivas. In the accident, the truck passing over the overpass flew into the house on the side of the road as a result of its driver losing control of the steering wheel. CHP Deputy Chairman and Sivas Deputy Ulaş Karasu brought the accidents on the road and the precautions to be taken to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Although the absence of anyone at home during accidents prevented possible loss of life, these accidents brought up the issue of road safety. CHP's Karasu brought the precautions to be taken on the road, which is known as the "death parade" among the citizens, to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Karasu, who submitted a parliamentary question requesting the Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu to answer, said, “What is the reason for the constant traffic accidents occurring in the mentioned location? Are there any defects or problems on the road? asked. The questions that Karasu wants the Minister to answer are briefly as follows:
Considering the fatal accidents that occur on the road, is/will it be on your agenda to take any precautions on the road?
What is the reason why precautions should have been taken on the road but have not been taken so far?
Will an escape ramp be built on the road to provide a safe stopping opportunity against the carelessness of drivers, trailers, buses and other vehicles using the road, or brake failures and tire bursts? If any other precautions will be taken, what kind of precautions will be taken?
How many accidents have occurred on the mentioned road in the last three years and how many of our citizens have lost their lives?
