Artists of the Future Grow in Şanlıurfa

Artists of the future are being trained at the Children's Conservatory, which was established for the first time in Turkey in 2019 by the Metropolitan Municipality in UNESCO Music City Şanlıurfa.

The Children's Conservatory, which is a first among municipalities in Turkey, started its education life with 2019 students in the spring semester of 20. Artists of the future are trained in the Children's Conservatory and Youth Conservatory, established within the Conservatory Branch Directorate of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Culture and Tourism Department.

In each new academic year, new students receive education at the Children's Conservatory. Students are accepted at every school level, from the 2nd grade to the 5th grade, within a total quota of 20 students for each grade level each semester.

In order to support the physical and mental development of children, Instrument Training, Piano, Choir Training, Orff Training, and Solfege (Note Reading) Training are given in the Children's Conservatory.

The Youth Conservatory, which is the continuation of the Children's Conservatory, accepts 6 students at each grade level, starting from the 8th grade of the Secondary School to the 20th grade. At the Youth Conservatory; Instrument Training, Piano Training, Choir Training, Turkish Music Theory, Western Music Theory training is provided.

In addition, in the Conservatory department, instrument training for adults is given seven days a week in Piano, Violin, Guitar, Baglama, Ney, Erbane, Tambourine, Darbuka and Gazel Khanate and Mevlüthanlik trainings. Exam preparation training is also given to students preparing for the Music Teaching and Conservatory departments of universities.
