Adana Metropolitan Municipality has taken very important steps towards making Adana a sports city for 5 years. Within the scope of Adana Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department, in 5 years; 16 thousand 58 children were trained in summer sports schools in 500 branches. In addition to the players promoted to the national team within the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club (ABBSK), players are given to the infrastructure of Adana Demir Spor and Adanaspor clubs.

-150 pieces of tracksuits, match jerseys, match shorts, leggings, shorts and T-Shirts were provided to 22 amateur sports clubs. 3300 units were given, for a total of 19 thousand 800 units. At the same time, a total of 150 ball bags, 150 training hoppers, 1800 training bowls, 3000 training ladders, 150 sets of 150 training hoops and training slalom sticks and 1 football match balls were delivered to 12 amateur sports clubs. 1500 thousand 26 pieces of material support were provided.

6 players from the basketball team operating within the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club (ABBSK) rose to the national team in the youth teams. Football team participating in youth leagues; It is included in the infrastructure of the city's professional football clubs such as Adana Demirspor and Adanaspor.
Significant successes are also being achieved in the athletics branch. ABBSK athlete Berat Uçuk became the Turkish champion in the pole vault branch of the Turkish Indoor Athletics Championship U18 category. The same athlete became the Turkish champion in the U16 category in the championship held in Bursa.
