46 Million TL Culvert Investment Continues in Manisa

Manisa Water and Sewerage Administration (MASKİ) General Directorate continues its infrastructure and superstructure investments throughout the province. The 46-meter, 1.300×2 culvert manufacturing works, with an investment cost of 2 Million TL, carried out in İstasyonaltı District within the scope of the Investment and Construction Department, and which also concerns the surrounding neighborhoods, continue without any problems. MASKİ District Chief Hüseyin Yelkenci examined the manufacturing works on site together with Albayrak Neighborhood Headman Yalçın Sertel and authorized personnel.

“AN IMPORTANT INVESTMENT FOR THE REGION”

Albayrak neighborhood headman Yalçın Sertel said, “This line work, which will eliminate the problems of İstasyonaltı, Yiğitler, Albayrak and Yıldırım neighborhoods, which have become the bleeding wound of our city, will be an important investment in solving the flood problem in the region. We follow the manufacturing works. Teams continue to install culverts quickly. "I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially our Metropolitan Mayor, Mr. Cengiz Ergün," he said.

“THIS STUDY CONCERNS THE ENTIRE TURGUTLU”

Giving information about the culvert manufacturing, Investment and Construction Department Head Hilmi Serkan Emir said, “The culvert project we implemented in İstasyonaltı Neighborhood concerns the whole of Turgutlu. In our Turgutlu district, some streams were not taken into account in previous zoning plans. Unfortunately, there are problems due to the fact that we need to discharge the rainwater into the streams and the lack of these stream beds. In order to put an end to the floods especially in the Station area, our administration carried out a project study and we quickly started to manufacture approximately 46 meters of 1.300x2 culverts with an investment cost of 2 Million TL. We started in days. The work is progressing smoothly. With the completion of the production, we will eliminate the rainwater and solve the problems of the neighborhoods and our citizens in this region. "Our investments throughout the province continue under the leadership of our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Cengiz Ergün," he said.
