2023 THOUSAND 92 HOURS OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING FOR ALL PERSONNEL IN 558
In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the Metropolitan Municipality provided basic occupational health and safety training to 4 thousand 815 people in accordance with the work performed by the personnel, and also provided profession-specific occupational health and safety training to 8 thousand 656 people. In the working areas of the personnel, 172 people were alone. While all personnel were provided with point (toolbox) training, 2023 thousand 92 hours of training were given in the field of occupational health and safety in 558. 17 occupational safety experts and 1 medical personnel received Explosion Protection Document (PKD) Preparation Training. Within the scope of the 2023 training plan of the Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute, physicians working within the Metropolitan Municipality were given "ILO International Classification of Pneumoconiosis Radiographs Reader Training".
FIELD INSPECTIONS
Working within Konya Metropolitan Municipality; A team consisting of occupational safety experts, workplace physicians and health personnel carried out 823 field surveillances to examine the activities of the personnel in their work areas in terms of occupational health and safety. Within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment; 287 periodic checks and tests were carried out, including 1.299 electrical installation and grounding measurements and 1.586 pressure vessels, lifting vehicles, and machinery equipment checks. In the areas where the personnel work; 245 environmental measurements such as noise, dust and thermal comfort were also made and reported.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEES
Within the scope of the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety Boards, a total of 2023 board meetings were held with employer/employer representatives and board members in 222 to ensure coordination and cooperation in occupational health and safety activities.
MORE THAN 10 THOUSAND INSPECTIONS WERE CARRIED OUT THROUGH MOBILE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH VEHICLE
On the other hand, the Metropolitan Municipality Mobile Occupational Health Vehicle, which started to serve as of October 10, 2023, provides service to 2 thousand 369 personnel, and a total of 10 thousand people, including lung radiography, hearing test, respiratory function test, eye measurement, ECG shooting, blood and sample tests. 71 examinations were performed.
