Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which sets an example with its rural development projects, continues its efforts to support rural development and contribute to domestic production.
Department of Rural Services, which provides support to local producers on many issues from seeds to seedlings, from diesel fuel to fertilizer, “100 corn silage support on the 1923th anniversary of our Republic” With the slogan, BAKAP started to distribute the corn silage harvested and packaged in the Agricultural Campus and Recreation Area to animal breeders aged 40 and under.
100 PERCENT GRANT
Corn silages grown in Turkey's largest Agricultural Campus and Recreation Area in Gölbaşı Karaoğlan are distributed to producers in 24 rural neighborhoods in 247 districts.
992,5 tons of corn silage is distributed with a 40 percent grant to 397 producers aged 100 and under who have an Animal Existence Certificate and Business Registration Certificate.

Producers who purchased corn silage used as animal feed thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for supporting them economically with the following words:
-Amine Tiftik: “As a young farmer, being given this support is such a great reward… If we try to buy it from outside, we have difficulties even in its transportation. “We would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and Mansur Mayor for supporting us in every way and helping us with barley and crops.”
-Aylin Yalın: “If we tried to buy this corn silage from outside, we would pay 2 thousand liras each. We bought 5 with a hundred percent grant. “I would like to thank the Metropolitan Municipality for these contributions.”

-İsmail Demirhan: “I have 15 cattle. If I tried to buy feed for these animals from outside, I would have to spend 10 thousand TL. This is a very nice support with 100 percent grant for the farmer. “I would like to thank the Metropolitan Municipality and Mayor Mansur for thinking about the farmers.”
-Ali Kocabaş: ““I would like to thank President Mansur for his rural development support.”
-Emin Ali Arı: “I have 15 cattle. We benefited from the support provided by our President Mansur. If we try to buy it from the market, it has a price of 2 thousand 500-3 thousand lira. It contributed to our economy. “I thank our president.”
