With the greenhouse support initiated by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality in 2016, it ensures that production continues throughout the four seasons and provides additional income opportunities to farmers.
Within the scope of this project, priority is given to families of martyrs, veterans, disabled individuals and female citizens. The Metropolitan Municipality continues its renovation and support efforts to renew and improve greenhouses damaged as a result of natural disasters. The Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department delivered new nylons to the producers whose greenhouses were damaged in a short time, ensuring that production continued and the grievances of the producers were eliminated. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality provided greenhouse nylon support to the producer Rıfat Çubuk, who lives in Hacıbey District of Alaşehir and whose greenhouse tepe nylon was damaged as a result of a natural disaster.
Producer Rıfat Çubuk, who lives in Hacıbey District, said, “We would like to thank our esteemed President. He was with us on our worst day. Greenhouse farming was my dream, but it was a disaster from God. That's why our nylon was torn. They also stood by us and supported us. He expressed his gratitude to Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün, saying "May God bless our esteemed President."
