'Lohusa' in Cinemas on January 19

The film, which has added laughter to the lives of millions with its trailer before it has even been released, focuses on the adventure-filled 40 days that a parent goes through after giving birth.

While the script of Lohusa is written by Gupse Özay; Kıvanç Baruönü, who directed important films in Turkish Cinema such as Arif V 216 and Görümce, is the director of the film. In the movie produced by Muzaffer Yıldırım, Gupse Özay, Onur Gürçay, Hazal Türesan, Esra Ruşan, Servet Pandur, Feri Güler, Birsen Dürülü, Su Şanad, Elif Nur Kirkuk, Alper Baytekin, Cihan Albayrak, Zerrin Nişancı, Ceren Morova, Kahraman Sivri, Özen Özkan, Ali Yasin Özegemen, Anıl Altınöz and Feriha Eyüpoğlu are starring.

The film, in which people who have children and those who do not have children will find sections of their own stories around the story of a postpartum woman, was shot in 6 weeks and with a team of 120 people. The shooting of the film took place in different districts of Istanbul such as Bebek, Beykoz, Moda, Polenezköy, Topkapı, as well as on plateaus.

Successful actress Gupse Özay, who played the character of Burcu, who had just given birth in the film, and appeared in front of the camera in her most natural state, said, “Burcu is an expectant mother who had a very comfortable and happy pregnancy. But it wouldn't be bad if he stopped pretending to be strong and asked for some help. Especially when he dips biscuits into his tea and asks, "Is there anything for me?"
