The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure DHMI Aviation Academy, which continues to achieve success on a global scale with its educational infrastructure at international standards, strong staff and physical facilities, celebrated its 7th year.
The shining star of civil aviation, DHMI resolutely meets all the requirements of the information age we live in. It shares the power of knowledge both through in-house training activities and by organizing necessary training programs for the aviation industry.

266.938 People Have Participated in the Training Since Its Opening
With a deep-rooted education tradition and modern education vision, DHMI Aviation Academy continues to make a name for itself in the international arena with the quality education it provides according to the ICAO and EUROCONTROL criteria of which it is a member.
Since the establishment of the Aviation Academy, a total of 266.938 people, including our Organization's staff and other stakeholders in the aviation industry, have been trained on different subjects of aviation. Thus, a total of 13.381.144,48 TL income was generated from these trainings.
Training was provided to 2023 personnel in 43.217
At DHMİ Aviation Academy, 2023 personnel were trained in 43.217 in line with the needs of all units, especially navigation and operation areas. Students who successfully completed the training process were presented with a diploma/certificate/participation certificate.
In addition to face-to-face training in 2023, training was also carried out via distance education method through the "Training Management System" made available by the Aviation Training Department.
Education in line with the requirements of the age
At DHMI Aviation Academy, the technological infrastructure suitable for the requirements of the digitalization age is provided, and the trainings continue to be given through the “Distance Education Platform”.
Online and video-based training was provided to 51.114 trainees via the Aviation Academy distance education platform.
In addition, approximately 20 million TL was saved by providing distance education services to the national and international sectors.
17 Million 397 Thousand TL Savings Achieved with Dhmi Education Management System
DHMI Aviation Academy, which aims to maintain the quality education it provides as an aviation university, continues to meet the demands coming from the national and international sectors with its experienced personnel and training staff on the way to which it started by believing in the power of knowledge.
In this context; In addition to the training of our own personnel, Basic ATC Course and Basic AIM Course were given to TRNC Aviation personnel in 2023, and Aircraft Fire Simulator training was organized for TAV LLC Georgia (Georgia) personnel at DHMI Aviation Academy Erzincan Facilities. Studies and plans continue to meet the demands from other countries in 2024.
Personnel from the General Directorate of Presidential Protection Services and the Gendarmerie General Command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, students from Nişantaşı University Air Traffic Department and TAV, HEAŞ, HAVAŞ, THY, Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. Training support was also provided to companies. As a result of external training services provided in 2023, an income of 2.840.710,64 TL was recorded.
