Boiler and Natural Gas Installation Support from Nevşehir Municipality

Dr. Nevşehir Municipality, which successfully implements exemplary social municipality practices in all areas of life under the leadership of Mehmet Savran, is implementing a new project with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change to improve air quality in the city and support families in need. Within the framework of the project financed with the grant given by the Ministry, all plumbing infrastructure, combi boilers, radiators and other equipment in the homes of 150 citizens who use coal because they do not have natural gas installations to heat their homes will be covered by Nevşehir Municipality.

Citizens who want to heat their homes with natural gas and who do not have natural gas installations in their homes must apply in person to Nevşehir Municipality Turkuaz Masa together with the title deeds and electricity or water bills of the houses they rent or own, in order to benefit from the support in question.

Once the Pre-Applications are completed on February 29, 2024, the families that will benefit from the support will be determined as a result of the evaluation taking into account the income status of the families.

Stating that the tender process is continuing for the project, which aims to improve air quality by reducing the use of coal in domestic heating, Nevşehir Mayor Dr. Mehmet Savran announced that after the application and evaluation process, the natural gas conversion processes in the residences of 150 families will be completed by October 2024.

Savran, as Nevşehir Municipality, we will cover the costs of natural gas installations, project drawings, combi boilers and radiators in the residences of 2053 families in our city, with our project that we submitted to our ministry within the framework of the 150 Net Zero Emission Green Development Goals put forward by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In this way, we will both support low-income families and take a huge step towards improving air quality. I would like to thank our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki, and all those who contributed for their support to our project.” said.
