Citizens, who fell into serious economic difficulties during the pandemic process, entered a narrow strait both psychologically and economically after the earthquake disaster last year. Turkish citizens have also had their share of the long-lasting global economic difficulties, and this has caused people's peace and happiness rates to decrease. So, does an environment without economic concerns provide peace, tranquility and happiness? We asked the citizens: Does money bring peace? The word is in the hands of the citizens...
Many of the citizens who responded to the question of the Everybody Hear reporter stated that they thought that money would bring peace if used correctly and made the following statements:
“NOT VALID IN EVERY AREA”
“Money brings peace when we are realistic. Because as the comfort zone relaxes, people's quality of life and desire for life increases. Therefore, this brings peace, but when you think holistically, it is not valid in every field, but in today's conditions, yes, money brings peace.”
“THERE IS NO PEACE IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE MINIMUM WAGE IS GIVEN”
“Sometimes money brings peace, sometimes it doesn't. It varies depending on the person and their lifestyle. For example, I was just in a job interview, even there the first thing they talked about was money, but in the present, money brings peace. "If the money is low, if the minimum wage is paid, there is no peace there."
“MONEY IS A TOOL”
Some citizens stated that they think that money will not always bring peace, and noted that peace is not about money, but about people, and that money is a tool for living comfortably.
