Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca; He stated that the ambulance helicopter allocated to Sivas, which has the second largest surface area in Turkey, was deployed to Kayseri and would only "support" Sivas.

Emphasizing that health is a need that cannot be postponed and stating that Sivas needs an ambulance helicopter, CHP member Karasu said that it should be given to the city again for service without wasting time.

CHP's Ulaş Karasu reminded that Sivas has the largest and most dispersed settlement, and added that in addition to the lack of specialist doctors, personnel and health supplies in the city, air ambulances, which will shorten long distances and are of great importance in preventing loss of life and disability through organ transplantation and faster intervention, are also available. He brought the issues of lack of services to the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Minister Koca recently responded to the motion of Karasu, who submitted a parliamentary question to the people of Sivas, demanding that the ambulance helicopter provide the same service again and requesting the Minister of Health Koca to answer.

DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS ARE BEING MADE

In his response to Karasu's questions, Minister Koca said, "Our Ministry plans human resources to provide optimum benefit, starting from the province where the need for health personnel is at the highest level, in order to ensure a balanced distribution of manpower resources to provinces and units within the province according to their titles and branches. "In our province of Sivas, 112 physicians and specialist physicians were appointed with the 190th DHY (Civil Service Obligation) lottery, 113 with the 19th DHY lottery, and 22 with open appointment," he said.

APPOINTMENTS WILL BE GIVEN WITHIN 15 DAYS AT THE LATEST

Physician work schedules in hospitals throughout Sivas province; Stating that it is planned to make an appointment between 2 hours later on the same day at the earliest and 15 days at the latest, according to the needs of hospitals, doctors and citizens, and that health services are provided in line with this planning, Minister Koca said, "All our citizens' examination requests are met, regardless of whether they have an appointment or not, and their access to health services is prevented without any delay." "There is no obstacle," he said.

HELICOPTER STATIONED IN KAYSERİ

Minister Koca also gave a striking answer about the ambulance helicopter. Although it was revealed to the public that the ambulance helicopter, which was previously in service in Sivas but was terminated, would be brought back to Sivas with the intervention of some politicians, it gave the exact opposite response to this development. Minister Koca said in his response:

“The helicopter ambulance service is designed to serve the provinces through ambulance helicopter zones created by taking into account the effective use of existing resources. In the current planning, helicopter ambulances are organized to cover the whole country. "Necessary support is provided to Sivas province with the ambulance helicopter stationed in Kayseri, one of the regional provinces created by taking into account the geographical situation."
