Şanlıurfa Science Center Will Contribute to the Development of the New Generation

Şanlıurfa Science Center, one of the visionary projects of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül and supported by TÜBİTAK, will provide a great opportunity for young people to be closely interested in science in the age of technology and to raise new scientists in Şanlıurfa, which has trained many explorers in the field of science and is home to the world's first university.

Şanlıurfa Science Center, built on an area of ​​51 thousand 402 square meters, has a landscaping area of ​​40 thousand square meters, and the indoor area in the project was designed to be 9 thousand square meters. Having completed the exterior work and landscaping, the teams have also largely completed the interior furnishing of the science center.

Şanlıurfa Science Center, which has a completely different look with night lighting, aims to bring together individuals from different age groups and with different backgrounds with science, and to raise awareness in the field of science and technology with experimental and applied activities. Şanlıurfa Science Center will encourage individuals to try and explore.

Thanks to the mathematics, wood and design, robotics and coding, biology and chemistry, STEM and astronomy workshops to be held at the Şanlıurfa Science Center, individuals interested in science will be offered a visitable, testable and dynamic museum, unlike the classical museum concept consisting of objects that are forbidden to be touched and displayed behind glass showcases in quiet environments. environment will be presented.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, who made examinations at the Science Center, noted that the scientists of the future will be trained at the Şanlıurfa Science Center.
