He visited 2024 Kayseri companies participating in the IIFF184 Istanbul International Furniture Fair.
Underlining that Kayseri, one of the cities of great importance for our country, is the right address for both production and trade in terms of the furniture industry, Gülsoy said, “In our city, which started with sofas, armchairs and beds, today we have companies producing in every branch of furniture with technological developments and new investments.” is taking. 2 out of every 1 chairs, 10 out of 7 sofas, 4 out of 1 bases, 4 out of 1 room sets, 2 out of 1 spring beds produced in Turkey are produced in Kayseri. Kayseri ranks first in furniture production. The fact that we have 20 large furniture manufacturers among the top 11 largest furniture manufacturers in Turkey is an example of this. In Kayseri, in addition to our important furniture brands, sponge, springs, plastic and machine parts are also produced as a sub-industry for these brands. On the other hand, the product groups needed by the sector such as Furniture, Beds, Sofas, Sofas, Bed Accessories, Furniture parts and parts are produced and traded to the domestic and foreign markets. Stating that Kayseri ranks first in Turkey with approximately 621 large and small companies and nearly 28 thousand employees in furniture manufacturing, which is one of the locomotive sectors, Mayor Gülsoy said, "From Kayseri, which carries Turkey's name to the international arena with famous brands in furniture, the USA, England, Russia “Furniture is exported to many countries, including Germany and Germany.” said.
Stating that the furniture produced in Kayseri adorns homes in 200 countries, Gülsoy said, “Our industry is advancing day by day by improving design and product quality and has raised the bar to the next level and will continue to do so. Our goal is to become one of the top 5 manufacturers in the world by ensuring that the design and product quality of Turkish furniture is adopted in all markets we reach. Innovation and design departments must be present in our businesses. It is also of great importance to stand out in the sector and to market and introduce new designs by participating in fairs.
