Political Party Meeting at High School in Enez! Reactions are Growing!

Reactions are rising from the district to the Reduced Advisory Board Meeting, organized by the AK Party Enez District Presidency, being held at Enez Multi-program Anatolian High School.

CHP Enez Provincial General Assembly Member Şenol Kılıç noted in his post on his social media account that he filed a criminal complaint by asking "Is Enez High School a meeting room or an election office of the AK Party organization?"

In his post, Kılıç criticized the meeting being held inside the high school, even though there is a hall in Enez, such as a wedding hall and a municipality public meeting, and said, "Our schools, which are centers of education, cannot be turned into areas where any party will hold meetings and decorate them with their flags. Who is responsible for this? Who gave permission? "Are the District and Provincial Directors of National Education, our Governor and the District Governor aware of this?" he asked.

REACTION FROM ULAŞ DEMİRAY

In addition to Kılıç's reaction, the former president of Kartopu Enez Volunteers, Ulaş Demiray, also reacted by making a statement.

Demiray noted that the Advisory Board of the AK Party Enez District Presidency was held in Enez Multi-Program Anatolian High School and that it was inappropriate to hold the meeting in the hall of a formal education institution, where AKP Edirne Deputy Fatma Aksal also attended.

Stating that it is irresponsibility and carelessness for a party to hold a political meeting in a hall decorated with AK Party flags, Demiray said, "As a result of the experiences gained in our country's 150-year democracy adventure, although it is known that politics should not enter mosques, barracks and schools, during the AKP period, FETO and barracks, and now mosques and Finally, as we saw yesterday, politics has entered the school. "Last year, again due to political considerations, the kitchen of the school was confiscated and the culinary program of the Multi-Program High School was rendered dysfunctional, and this kitchen was taken from the school administration and used as a tool for election propaganda with a populist approach," he said.

Stating that the AK Party should withdraw from schools and religious places, Ulaş Demiray said, “A party that has been in power for 22 years has not been able to provide Enez with a Culture House, which will include a library, a multi-purpose meeting hall. This is also a great shame for Ms. Fatma, who has been an Edirne Deputy for 2 terms. I think Mr. Aksal is not even aware of a Culture House Project prepared during the time of Governor Canalp, like the Enez Port Project, which has become obsolete due to indifference. Aksal has not hit a single nail in Enez in the past period. "It is a detail for Enez Fatma Aksal in this period," he said.
