Doğuş Group, as one of the leading groups in the field of social responsibility in Turkey with the vision of 'A Good Future from Birth, Future with Doğuş', takes Fenerbahçe Doğuş Sailing athletes to a Turkish record tour. The 3-day record attempt, which started in Hopa, the easternmost part of the Black Sea, on January 10, will extend from one end of Turkey to the other.
With the support of Doğuş Group, Fenerbahçe Doğuş Sailing Branch is attempting an important record for both Turkish maritime and sailing. With the participation of athlete Ateş Çınar, who has four Olympics experience, and Fenerbahçe Doğuş Sailing School Principal Barış Koncagül, Evren Koncagül and Doğukan Kandemir, this event also aims to offer new goals and vision to young athletes outside of the Olympics.
In this 600-mile sea voyage, sailing athletes attempt a challenging record attempt with wind power. 'Our Courage is Born: Our Wings are the Wind, Our Way is the Sea' This record attempt, carried out with the slogan, also attracts attention with its carbon footprint measurement, which is a first in Turkey.
