Adıyaman University Computer Engineering Department lecturer Dr. Lecturer The project named "Detection of Creatures Outside the Field of Vision with Artificial Intelligence Using Laser and Sound Signals", in which member Ferdi Doğan took part as a researcher, was entitled to receive support within the scope of "TÜBİTAK 1001 Earthquake Zone Universities Special Call - BİNBİRÇABA".

With the "Live Detection System" to be developed within the scope of the project, search and rescue teams will be able to reach more people quickly after the earthquake and many lives will be saved within 72 hours.

In order to overcome the limitations of existing technologies, it is aimed to develop a new technology for the detection of living creatures outside the field of vision with the "Living Detection System", which is prepared using laser and sound waves. This system will also have the ability to quickly and effectively predict the survival of people under the rubble.

Therefore, with the implementation of the project, an important process will be introduced in emergency management and post-disaster live search.

In the statement made by the academics involved in the project, it was reported that promising results were obtained by detecting living tissue and non-living materials in studies carried out on different materials.
