Autism Support Center Opened in Adana

Autism Support Center was opened within Adana Metropolitan Municipality Health and Social Services Department Disabled Services Branch Directorate.

Zehra Eruçar, the mother of a person with special needs and the President of Atlas Disabled Youth and Sports Club, made the first speech at the opening of her child's Autism Support Center; She said that she received services in a safe area, accompanied by teachers, a psychologist and a physiotherapist.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who brings important services related to individuals with special needs to the people of Adana, said, “It is a great pleasure to be opening a facility that is beneficial to our disabled children. We are extremely happy with every wealth and every investment we bring to Adana. Because we love you and our Adana very much. This is a dedication, we have been working for Adana, 'Adana Adana', without stopping or resting for about 10 years.” he said.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who provided many services for disabled individuals during his term as Mayor, especially the Break House, a special park for disabled individuals; It provided important services on the barrier-free Adana road with free maintenance and repair for approximately 3 wheelchairs, battery-powered and manual wheelchairs, and battery-powered wheelchair charging stations at 500 points.

Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who also announced the good news of the new era at the opening, said that in an area of ​​approximately 35 thousand square meters around Real, for disabled individuals; He noted that they will introduce to the people of Adana a facility that is exemplary for Turkey, which will include offices, parks and training areas.

Autism Support Center was opened with the presentation of flowers and ribbon cutting by Nazlı Işık, mother of a child with special needs, to Mayor Zeydan Karalar.

The center aims to support individuals with autism diagnosed with Autism Spectrum and their families with expert psychologists, sociologists and physiotherapists; It provides an environment where families who cannot leave the house due to having special children can socialize and where their children can spend time comfortably and safely.
