Speaking at the Provincial Coordination Board Meeting held at Mardin Atatürk Cultural Center, Governor Akkoyun said that they received good and positive news about the work done in the oil fields on the Syrian border. Governor Akkoyun, who thanked everyone who made efforts with science, labor and intelligence in the oil exploration and extraction of the oils found in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic, in the Turkish Century, said, "133 of the 81 wells on the Syrian border are actively working. Our friends are working diligently. 469 PROJECTS ARE IMPLEMENTED

Governor Akkoyun noted that 2023 projects were implemented by public institutions and organizations, municipalities and public professional organizations in Mardin in 469, and said that 160 projects were completed, 145 projects are ongoing and 164 projects are at the study project stage. The total amount of these projects is 56 billion 997 million 716 thousand Turkish Liras, and as of the end of the 2023th period of 4, 4 billion 273 million 338 thousand liras were spent. Governor Akkoyun, who also gave the good news that the Mardin Provincial Public Library tender will be held in February, said: "We will bring a modern library to Mardin, with a conference hall for 10 people, on an area of ​​​​approximately 500 thousand square meters."
