The 150nd Tourism Meeting, in which 2 tourism agencies from home and abroad are expected to participate, will be held in our city on 9-10-11 January, in order to develop Kocaeli's tourism potential and promote tourism routes. Information was exchanged with the stakeholders who came together at Kocaeli Congress Center in cooperation with Kocaeli Governorship, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli University, TÜRSAB and Kocaeli Hotel Operators, about the tourism potential of our city and the travel agencies that will be hosted.
KOCAELİ TOURISM ROUTES WILL BE INTRODUCED
Details of the program organized to increase awareness of our city and develop its tourism potential have been announced. Kocaeli tourism routes will be introduced with guides. The first day program starts with Historical Kapanca Street, which is of great importance for the city's cultural and historical tourism; It will end with Yuvacık Dam, Gölcük Summer Thermal Spring, Gebze Çoban Mustafa Pasha Social Complex, Gebze Malkoçoğlu Tomb, Historical Water Cabinet, Hereke Castle and dinner. On the second day, the trip starts with the Kartepe program; Separate Planet Glass Terrace, Sky Hand, Kartepe Ski Center, which draws attention with its winter tourism potential, will continue with Ormanya, Sekakamp and Maşukiye, which are frequented by nature tourism enthusiasts.
TOURISM AGENCIES FROM DOMESTIC AND ABROAD
Agencies from the Black Sea, Marmara, Mediterranean, Aegean and Central Anatolia regions, the Balkan Region and the Middle East will also participate in the program where tourism routes in Kocaeli will be introduced.
TOURISM SECTOR WILL MEET IN KOCAELI
On the last day of the program, tourism agencies and operators will come together and open stands at the "Tourism Sector Meeting" to be held at Kocaeli Congress Center. Representatives of tourism agencies, tour guides and tour company owners who will be hosted in our city will come together with touristic businesses in Kocaeli. While the meeting aims to increase the number of tourists coming to Kocaeli, it is aimed to increase the share of the city's tourism revenues with the tourists coming to the region and to increase the tourism income earned by the local people.
