The 30th International Scientific Congress and Exhibition, organized by Izmir Chamber of Dentists (IZDO) at Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Center this year, brought together dentists and sector representatives.
Presentations, courses, panels, discussion platforms and various social events were held at the congress, which lasted 3 days in total and was attended by local and foreign academicians who are experts in their fields. This year's guest of honor of the congress was Trifon Antonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Dentists.
Making the opening speech after the moment of silence and the reading of the national anthem, İZDO President Deniz Çağında stated that they were happy to meet once again at the event, which has become a tradition and is one of the dentistry congresses with the widest participation in Turkey.
Expressing his gratitude to the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, Çağında said that one of the most important duties of professional chambers, apart from producing solutions for their colleagues regarding the problems, is to meet the post-graduation training needs of their colleagues through courses, seminars and congresses.

Pointing out that the participants had the opportunity to closely follow scientific and technological innovations and developments related to dentistry at the 30th International Scientific Congress and Exhibition, where many local and foreign academics took part as speakers.
“The program carefully prepared by our scientific committee brings together our local and foreign colleagues who are renowned in their fields. "On this occasion, we will follow the innovations, refresh our knowledge and strengthen our friendships with strong social events and scientific presentations," he said.
Following the speeches, Prof., the most senior member of the Izmir Chamber of Dentists with 60 members who have been serving the dentistry profession for more than 2 years. Dr. Nazmi Ertük and Mehmetcan Aydın, the chamber's youngest dentist on the 600th anniversary of the Republic, were also given plaques prepared in memory of the day by Chamber President Deniz Çağında.
NEARLY 40 PRESENTATIONS WERE MADE, THE EVENTS ATTRACTED ATTENTION
Nearly 40 presentations were made at the congress, where local and foreign academicians who are experts in their fields attended. Dentists who attended the presentations held in two separate halls watched the presentations where academicians explained current information, diagnosis and treatment techniques. At the congress that brought together the oral and dental health industry in Turkey, leading dental companies in the sector also presented their new products.
After the congress program on the first day, Nazım Hikmet's 'Kuvayi Milliye Epic' Oratorio was staged by the Izmir Chamber of Dentists Oratorio group. At the end of the second day, Prof. Dr. Nazan Uysal Harzad; He gave a talk on 'Healthy Life and Nutrition Tips'. At the cocktail held after the presentations on the second day of the congress, participants were entertained with the lively songs of Necati and Saykolar group.
On the third day, academician and writer Serkan Karaismailoğlu; He gave the audience enjoyable moments with his talk titled 'Female Brain, Male Brain'.
