Master civil engineer, architect and earthquake expert Yoshinori Moriwaki continues to tour the earthquake zone with KYK Construction Chemicals Earthquake Training Truck "Explorer".

KYK Construction Chemicals, which started a new era with the motto "We Stand Up Together Again", continues to provide training in cities in the earthquake zone. KYK Construction Chemicals Earthquake Training Truck “Explorer” and Japanese Earthquake Expert Yoshinori Moriwaki gave training in Adana and Osmaniye.

Earthquake trainings, organized by Japanese earthquake expert, master architect and civil engineer Yoshinori Moriwaki, under the leadership of KYK Construction Chemicals, continue. Moriwaki is carrying out earthquake awareness activities in the provinces and districts of Hatay, İskenderun, Adana, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Elbistan, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Elazığ and Erzincan between 28 September and 29 November 2023, with earthquake information meetings to be held in Turkey's earthquake regions. .

“THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RECONSTRUCTION PEACE IN JAPAN”

In this context, Moriwaki gave training in Adana and Osmaniye. Moriwaki, whose first stop was Adana, said, “There is no such thing as zoning peace in Japan. They can benefit from the zoning peace by paying a special tax to search for natural gas, connect electricity or for various reasons. But instead of doing this, he should fix what he did," he said. Earthquake Expert Yoshinori Moriwaki focused on many issues in the seminar he gave in a hotel.

Moriwaki also compared the building construction and systems in Japan with the building construction and systems in Turkey. Stating that there are very large earthquakes in Japan based on the February 6 earthquake, Moriwaki said, “There are a lot of earthquakes in Japan. Some of them can be very violent. But despite this, we do not run out when an earthquake occurs. We stand our ground and only hold items on the table that might fall. But the Turks do not do this. Instead, when an earthquake occurs, they immediately run outside. "This is a very natural behavior," he said.

“50 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING STOCK DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REGULATIONS”

Moriwaki's second stop was Osmaniye. In the seminar he gave in Osmaniye, he explained topics such as the causes of the earthquake, its effects, methods of reducing its damage, building strengthening methods and practices, and what to do during and after the earthquake. While evaluating Turkey's building report card, Moriwaki also stated that 21 percent of the building stock exceeding 50 million does not comply with the regulations, and said that the reason for this is the 'Reconstruction Peace'. Moriwaki also met with students at a vocational high school and gave information to the students about earthquake management and disaster response systems applied in Japan.
