Professionals who came together at the Istanbul Tourism Fair shared their experiences in the sector at the panel on health tourism and drew attention to the 70 percent support provided by the state to companies.
Health tourism stands out as one of the fastest growing areas of tourism activity around the world. Turkey gets a significant share of this growth by obtaining a significant portion of its tourism revenues from health tourism. Istanbul Tourism Fair, which brings together tourism professionals from Turkey and around the world and enables new collaborations, hosted an unforgettable information feast where health tourism was discussed on 4-5 October 2023 this year.
The panel at the fair held at the Istanbul Congress Center was moderated by Yalçın Avcı, Founder of Trust Global Exhibitions. Deputy General Director of the Ministry of Commerce, Ali Alperen Kaçar, who was the guest of honor in the panel, also made important statements about health tourism in Turkey and conveyed Turkey's health tourism agenda.
