Rize Mayor Rahmi Metin met with members of the press at the promotional meeting of the GastroRize 3rd National Rize Gastronomy Days Festival, which will be held for the third time this year with the slogan "Hayde to the Festival".

GastroRize 3rd National Rize Gastronomy Days, where the nature, culture and local flavors of Rize will be introduced, will be held at the Sahil Car Park between 13-15 October. The festival, which will feature Rize's culture, tastes and smells, will start on Friday, October 13, at 17.00, with the protocol opening in the seaside parking area and will last for 3 days.

Rize Mayor Rahmi Metin gave information to the press about the festival content and its contributions to the promotion of our city; “Our GastroRize Festival, which we organized for the third time this year, will host many colorful events this year as well. We will experience the taste, sound and colors of Rize with the whole city and our guests. Go to the Festival!” said.

In his statement, President Rahmi Metin said; “We are opening Rize's table to Turkey and the world with our festival, where we will introduce Rize's nature, culture and local delicacies. What's on this table?

Our Tea, Honey, Roasted Food, Muhlama, Pepecura, Dried Beans, Pita...

We have Enişte Turkish Delight, Cane Bread and of course fish (Anchovies). On this table, we have local and organic products, 14 geographically marked products, and the unique tastes of our cuisine. We are doing this festival for Rize. We do this to recognize our food and beverage industry, to develop the tourism industry, and to promote our unique culture. Our goal for Rize is; "To promote our city, to inform everyone about our assets, riches and beauties, and to develop Rize's brand value," he said.

President Rahmi Metin continued his speech; Our goal for the tourism sector is; To increase our share of the tourism market. Writing Rize's name into the tourism economy. Our goal for our operators is; To look for ways to do more business, to contribute to their branding, to increase the prosperity of every business. We have come a long way towards these goals in the past 2 years. We saw that we were on the right track for our goals. We are more experienced this year. God willing, we will make greater progress towards our goals.

We will host 30 important chefs and gastronomy doyens of Turkey at our festival. They will interpret Rize's unique products and flavors in the festival area.

They will hold events. In the festival area; We will have flavor stands and traditional handicraft stands where the flavors of Rize cuisine and local products will be tasted and sold with the participation of more than 60 local producers, including ÇAYKUR.

Our GastroRize Festival, which we organized for the third time this year, is now a brand of Rize. “The seed thrown into the ground took hold” and began to grow and flourish. We are and will continue to grow this brand of our city together. "We invite everyone to our festival," he said.
