The International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon, organized for the 2nd time this year in cooperation with Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, Vestel, Turkish Athletics Federation and stakeholder institutions, started with the Children's Run. The races held in the 6-12 age categories witnessed colorful images.
The 2nd International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon started with the Children's Run held in Manisa Cumhuriyet Square. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department Head Sibel Alkın Kedersiz, Police Department Security Branch Manager Selçuk Bozkurt, Social Services Department officials, Vestel organization officials and many citizens of Manisa attended the race. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department Head Sibel Alkın Kedersiz gave the start of the race. While the children were enjoying the run, their families created colorful images with their mobile phones to immortalize those moments. After the races of all age groups were completed, the winners were presented with their awards. At the end of the race, souvenir photos were taken to commemorate the day.
