Flamingo Festival, which will be held in Gediz Delta between 15-17 September in cooperation with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Nature Association, brings together nature lovers from all over the world.
Flamingo Festival, sponsored by IzDoğa, one of the affiliates of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, will be held together with the 20th Turkey Bird Conference. At the conference, birds and their habitats will be discussed with the participation of experts and listeners from different countries on the days when birds bring joy to Izmir with their autumn migration. During the three-day festival, Flamingo Road boat and bus tours organized by İzDoğa Turizm will be free.
Bird watchers and scientists will attend the conference
At the conference, bird watchers, scientists, nature lovers who fight for nature conservation and are interested in birds from various provinces of Slovenia, Kazakhstan, France, Bulgaria and Turkey will meet.
Information and experiences on bird observation, research, conservation and area defense activities will be shared at the conference, where the participant quota is quickly filled.
Tours are free during the festival
The three-day festival will start with the 20th Turkey Bird Conference and continue with many events. Within the scope of the Flamingo Festival, free Flamingo Road boat and bus tours, Agora Minor concert, dance shows, shadow play and kite festival organized by IzDoğa will be held for three days.
