Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu met with students who are doing internship in public institutions within the scope of the Presidency National Internship Program at PTT Ahlatlıbel Social Facilities.
With the "National Internship Program" carried out under the coordination of the Presidency of the Presidency of Human Resources Office, students who are doing internship in public institutions made their applications through the Career Gate Platform. As a result of these applications, TCDD provided internship opportunities to 2023 university students in 821.
The students, who had the opportunity to do their internship at TCDD through the National Internship Program, carried out theoretical and practical training activities in various units in accordance with their fields. Speaking about their activities, the students stated that the practical training they received was compatible with the courses at the university and made the information more permanent.
The satisfaction rate was 2022 out of 5, with the votes of the students who did their internship in TCDD in 4.7 in the Presidency National Internship Institution Evaluation Survey of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Speaking at the event, Minister Uraloğlu said that he was pleased to meet with university students doing internships in various public institutions on the occasion of this program. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that such internships are important for the young people who will have a say in the future of our country to gain experience and qualifications and that the young people have the potential to act with this awareness. Minister Uraloğlu, who also shared his own experiences with the youth, took a close interest in the youth in the question and answer session. During the event, a souvenir photo was taken with the students who also participated in various activities.
