The excitement of Red Bull Formulaz, organized by Red Bull and Formulaz Association for the 14th time this year, starts on Sunday, August 27th. As every year, preparations for the organization that will take place in Tunca town of Ardeşen district of Rize are being completed this year.

The fastest name of the Black Sea will be determined at the event organized by Red Bull and Formulaz Association for the 14th time.
Known as the biggest race of wooden cars, Red Bull Formulaz will once again offer unforgettable and exciting moments to both participants and spectators with its unique rules and fun track. Wooden cars, which were produced in the early 1900s to go down from high points faster and later became popular with the intense use of the public, will appear in the race to be held in Tunca town of Rize's Ardeşen district on August 27 this year. Competitors coming from all over Turkey will try to complete the 1.6-kilometer track in the shortest time possible, reaching a speed of 60-70 kilometers per hour in places, with the interesting wooden cars they designed.
Downhill racing without brakes
The dimensions of the vehicles, which are all wooden and handmade, will be limited to 170 x 70 centimeters. Wheel heights cannot exceed 25 centimeters in vehicles that must have a steering wheel and four wheels for steering. Vehicles without engines will move downhill with gravity. Another feature of Red Bull Formulaz that keeps the Black Sea culture alive is the bristle socks and black rubber shoes that all competitors must wear.
Young and old will show off their skills
Red Bull Formulaz, where participants over the age of 40 compete in a separate category, is open to anyone over the age of 18.
