ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AUTOMATION WILL STAMP THE FAIR

Companies serving in the fields of artificial intelligence and automation in agriculture, which will participate in the Growmach fair this year, will host the fair visitors with their state-of-the-art products at their stands.

Şeyda Gül, Marketing Specialist of Mana Aviation, which produces agricultural spraying drones in Ankara, said that by participating in the Growmach fair, they will both promote their drones and services and aim to establish new connections.

Expressing that they attach importance to sectoral fairs, Gül noted that they will have the opportunity to communicate with farmers and manufacturers together with certified pilots at the Growmach fair.

Şeyda Gül, who gave information about Mana Aviation, said: “Our company has a founding team with more than 30 years of aviation experience and more than 100 employees. We produce agricultural spraying drones and provide spraying services to farmers with these drones. We aim to offer the most appropriate solutions to our customers' needs, with our human-oriented approach in both production and services. As Mana Aviation, we have 3 types of drone production, operational service and training services. With our UAV 1 and UAV 2 certified pilots, we also offer spraying services via drones to our farmers. In addition, with our trainings approved by THK University and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, we train pilots certified in UAV 1 and UAV 2 and bring them to the sector. Aerial spraying with drones gives farmers an advantage in terms of both water and pesticide savings. Moreover, we prevent damage to crops with a certain color when they are driven with a tractor. Thus, we increase efficiency.”

FARMERS' WORK IS EASY WITH THE AUTOMATIC STEERING SYSTEM

Oğuzhan Arık, General Manager of AGV Technic, which produces an 'automatic steering' system that allows the tractor to be remotely controlled on a certain route, said that thanks to this system, they have increased the efficiency of the products and reduced operating costs.

Arık said, “The automatic steering system is a system that has the feature of creating smooth lines on the route determined by the user on the lands to be processed with the driver's tractor and self-propelled agricultural implements (combine harvester, beet harvester, cotton harvester, etc.). AGV Technic automatic steering system; It allows you to comfortably complete the operations you perform in your field without being affected by adverse weather conditions. It prevents the line lines from overlapping in applications in more spraying, fertilization and seed planting. Thanks to this system, it also reduces the input costs as it prevents the consumption of pesticides, fertilizers and seeds. Farmers can adapt to this system very easily. The automatic steering system saves fuel, time, work efficiency, fertilizer and spraying. A 20% increase in efficiency can be achieved from all operations. In other words, it is possible to obtain 100 acres of products from a 120-decare land. We stand by our farmers with minimum precision, easy installation, multiple working modes, remote connection and 7/24 technical support.”

Expressing that they will meet with domestic and foreign companies and manufacturers at the Growmach Fair, which will be held for the first time this year, Oğuzhan Arık added that the visitors will have the opportunity to examine their products closely.

WE ARE TAKING AGRICULTURAL EFFICIENCY TO THE HIGH LEVEL

Ömer Faruk Koç, the Founder of the Istanbul-based company Move On, which provides services in the field of artificial intelligence and automation in agriculture, said that they provide advantages to producers in the agricultural sector in terms of both efficiency and savings.

Koç stated that with the patented software they developed as Move On company, artificial intelligence and camera systems integrated into tractors, they have increased agricultural productivity to the highest level, especially in areas such as crop harvesting after planting, spraying, fertilizing and hoeing.

Providing information about Move On's work, Koç said: “Our company received its first patent in 2018; We started to operate from January 2020. Currently, mainly in the Marmara region; We provide services throughout Türkiye. We are among the 5 companies in the world working for artificial intelligence and the autonomy of tractors in agriculture. We want to be beneficial to the sector and farmers by preventing inefficiency in agriculture. We are a company that has its hands on the keyboard and its feet on the ground. We continue our growth in the industry with artificial intelligence software at different levels developed by our software and R&D teams. This system also gives very useful results for plant counting, weed separation, field productivity analysis and minimizing losses in crop harvest. As a result of our research, we have seen that there is an 8 percent waste per acre with traditional methods. With Move On, the tractors are positioned precisely in the field and the products are harvested in the most optimum way. Losses during harvest are also prevented. Currently, our work abroad continues. We want to provide added value to our country with the revenues we obtain from abroad.”

Ömer Faruk Koç added that they are excited to meet with producers and companies in the Antalya region for the first time at the Growmach Fair, which they will attend this year.
