Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Antalya and Trabzon Airports broke all-time records during Eid al-Adha. Reminding that only one week has passed since Antalya Airport broke its own record by serving 24 thousand 2023 passengers with 137 flights on June 195, 867, Minister Uraloğlu said, "Our Antalya Airport is breaking record after record. While he broke his own record just a week ago; He renewed his record with 1 flights and 188 passengers on Saturday, July 199,'' he said.

Minister Uraloğlu, who shared that Trabzon Airport reached the highest figure with 30 aircraft traffic on 2023 June 145, and stated that the figures are very pleasing, said, “This holiday was a holiday where records were broken. We get paid for the services rendered. We will continue to increase our investments and services even more.”

Sharing the flight traffic at Antalya and Trabzon Airports in detail, Minister Uraloğlu said, “Antalya Airport served a total of 1 aircraft on July 2023, 168, 020 on the domestic line and 188 on the international line. It broke the all-time record by reaching the highest figure in one day since its opening. Trabzon Airport, on the other hand, broke its own record with 30 aircraft traffic on 2023 June 145. It was a holiday where records were broken,'' he said.

Pointing out that the Black Sea Region, which has become one of the most important tourism routes in Turkey with its streams, plateaus and rough sea, attracts great attention from tourists, Minister Uraloğlu said, “Our Black Sea Region has become a center of attraction with its greenery and nature. Country planes from Germany, Azerbaijan, UAE, Bahrain, Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Israel, Qatar, TRNC, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan landed at Trabzon Airport. Planes coming from many different countries are also the most important indicator that there is a great tourism potential in our region,'' he said.
