TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ announced that it will organize additional flights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line. These additional flights will start as of 11 August. In order to meet the passenger density and demands, 8 reciprocal flights (4+4) will be organized on weekends.
According to the statement, the new high-speed train will depart from Ankara at 11.10 and depart from Sivas at 14.50. It is stated that more than 3 thousand passengers travel on the Ankara-Sivas line on average daily, and a capacity increase of 966 people will be provided on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with new additional flights.
It was stated that 27 thousand passengers traveled as of April 2023, 264 with the high-speed trains put into service between Ankara and Sivas. With these additional flights, it is aimed to carry more passengers and to provide transportation in a faster and more efficient way.
